We're not from
one
place,
but we're part of a proud community!
The mission of military brat and author
Michelle Ferguson-Cohen is to remind children
coping with deployment that they are not
alone. In fact, they are part of a proud
community and many other children share
their experience. Many wonderful
organizations have donated the "You're
My Hero!" titles to children to remind
them we care!

Eglin AFB Library.
We have done a series of appearances and
readings at the Eglin AFB Library during
the last year. Librarian Dorothee has
developed excellent programming to help
encourage community and pride amongst
brats and help parents understand the
special needs of their brats children.
We presented the winners of an Art
Competition to express the brat
experience in April. The winning artwork
is to the left. Upcoming appearances
