We’re not from one place, but we’re part of a proud community!
The mission of military brat and author Michelle Ferguson-Cohen is to remind
children coping with deployment that they are not alone. In fact, they are part
of a proud community and many other children share their experience. Many
wonderful organizations have donated the “You’re My Hero!” titles to children to
remind them we care!

    The author has made a number of appearances, reading to children in her community. Discussions and an art time often follow the readings that give children an opportunity to express their feelings and response to the books.

    Books for BratsTM has already donated a majority of its profits. We have made donations to a number of worthwhile organizations and FRGs nationwide and we have established the Hurricane Replenishment program for our friends in the Gulf Coast. We have done this with the help of our Books for Brats Angels!
